What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are used to improve the navigation of websites. Thanks to cookies, browsing preferences such as language, display options, etc. can be stored by the current browser.
Cookies are saved on the used device, to facilitate the use of the content and are readable only by the website that generated them.

Profiling cookies (third parties)
Some cookies may also be used to show special offers consistent with the preferences expressed during navigation in order to improve the user’s purchase experience and conditions.
The cookies that we use for profiling do not collect information that personally identifies the user browsing the pages of the website.
The website uses profiling cookies connected with the Google Adwords “remarketing” function, allowing the publication on the Google content network of personalised advertisements based on the pages visited by users on the website. Third-party providers, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on users’ previous visits to your website.
The information obtained is used only to identify the browser and cannot in any way identify the user.
How it works: some pages of the site include a remarketing code that allows the reading and configuring of the browser’s cookies to determine the type of advertisement the user will see according to the data related to his/her visit to the website.
The remarketing lists created are stored on Google’s servers where all cookie IDs associated with the interests are stored.
Further information about the remarketing tool can be found at this link: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/143465?hl=it&ref_topic=3123080&rd=1
